Accent Tables
Accent Tables
Concept
It’s, well, accent tables. I like the uniqueness of live edge table tops and the interesting wood patterns that come with it. This tabletop is currently my favorite.
I also like to experiment with interesting table supports.
Round Tripod Table
My daughter asked me to design an accent table, and I came up with this tripod table support. And then I went in search of a live edge slab, because I wanted to make an epoxy resin inlay. And now I made two.

Rectangular Floating Accent Table
I saw some interesting walnut pieces at Goby Walnut where I often go to look at wood to find inspiration. I knew immediately that the live edges of those pieces must be joined by greenery. The tapered leg floating tabletop design took a while longer to settle on. And now that it’s finished, it makes me think of Washington Park where I take walks in the woods between working with wood.

Small Accent Tables
Not everybody has the space for a 2′ table, and I was commissioned to make two 12″ round tables
